White Bright Blossoms
This is another photo of the beautiful pear tree in bloom! These blossoms are so pretty and delicate. I only wish the tree blossomed all Spring/Summer long. This one is entitled "White Bright Blossoms", because they are just that. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy!

Spring Unveiled
I think Spring is my favorite time of the year! I love the how the end of a long winter gives way to growth, new life, and the beauty of nature all around. I like to watch tiny buds and blooms turn into full grown flowers, the grass turn greener, the sun shining, and the blueness of the skies. This photo is of my pear tree in my front yard, which blossoms twice a year. The tiny blooms are small, but you are able to see the detail of each bloom. I am enjoying watching the beauty unfold all around me that Spring brings each year. So this photo is entitled "Spring Unveiled". I hope you like it and don't forget to look at the beauty all around, wherever you may be.

Sometimes You Feel Like A Nut......
Went to a park on Sat. wanting to take some photos, since it has rained for the last 3-4 days here. The joke was on me, as it was freezing cold outside! I stayed long enough to take some photos of my niece playing, the ducks and geese, and this little guy. This was just a baby squirrel who ran right up to us. He was a little scared, as he would run up to us and then turn tail and take off running again. I quickly snapped a photo of him on the ground at my feet, and then one of the ducks scared him off up the tree. It was pretty funny and my niece laughed alot. I think my fingers are still frost-bitten though! Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Oh Spring, Where Are You?
I can't believe that it is still so cold here in Michigan. I guess we were spoiled last year by the warm weather and we just expect the same thing this year. So, while I still wait for the nicer weather, here are a few pictures that I have been fooling around with. Thanks for looking, hope you like one or all! Happy Monday!

Abstract Blossom Tree
I can't believe one year ago, it was 82 degrees outside and today it is just 18 degrees! Here is an abstract that I made of a photo of a blossom tree. Have to find something to do when it's so cold outside. This is one of about a dozen different flower abstracts that I made. Until the weather gets a little warmer, I am utilizing a little of my creative side. Hope you like it!

Michigan Weather in Days!
Well, I was really hoping Spring was just around the corner as I saw this beautiful tree while driving down the road early on a foggy morning a week ago. I took the picture as a passenger in the car going 60 mph and was unable to get a really clear shot of this tree. It looked so beautiful and serene just sitting there in a mist of fog.
A few days later, it was raining and all of the snow was gone! Getting really happy now, as it really looks like Spring is in the air! There was even a rainbow after this rain, but I could only capture a photo from my front porch.
Two days after what I thought was Spring rain, I woke up to two inches of snow. I tell ya, Michigan is so fickle with it's weather. So again, I will wait for the real Spring, to go out and smell the air, soak up the sun, and get out there with my camera!

Winter Fades, I Hope!
Friday was an absolutely beautiful day here in Michigan. The sun was out and it smelled like Spring is in the air. I decided I had to get out with my camera for awhile and went to one of my favorite local parks near Lake St Clair to see if any of the ice had melted on the water yet. Well, it has not melted yet, but is definitely showing signs of moving in that direction. I love the way the sun was reflecting off of the snow and ice. I saw a few other weird things there too! I have so much to learn, but love each and every minute of taking photos, looking for my mistakes and what I can do better next time. One thing I've been trying to remember each time I am out is, to "look up".
